TIMOTHY F.SMITH

Durango Protection Services LLC’s Founder and Executive Director,Timothy F. Smith started out in business as an owner of a martial arts studio in Durango , Colorado for over 25 years before closing it in 2020.

In September of 2020, He studied and received certification as an Executive Protection Specialist at the International Training Commission located in Maryland. 

He started Durango Protection Services LLC. in 2019 after realizing a lack of Event security professionals in his home town of Durango, Colorado. 

After starting DPS as an Event Security company, He added an Executive & Celebrity Protection division to the company’s services. 

In February of 2021, Mr. Smith attend, trained and received an certificate in Celebrity Protection & Behavior Intelligence under ICON GLOBAL INC. and Executive Security International. 

Mr. Smith’s mission with Durango Protection Services LLC. is to provide trained, professional and honorable Event Security and Executive Protection specialist to Durango, Colorado and the surrounding Four Corners region.
